80- Nose
- Perfumy. Malty. Barley sugar. Pine resin. An earthy note. Wet soil and pine needles. A hint of linseed.
- Palate
- Smooth and silky. Some oiliness. Sweet maltiness enhanced by a minty note. Develops on marzipan and soft spices.
- Finish
- Drier but gentle and delicate.
- Comment
- A well-structured dram with character and delicacy. Very refreshing. A perfect Speysider to recommend.

- Mellow, vanilla cream (Chantilly?), cinder toffee,fresh wood shavings,with time fresh coffee.
- Palate
- Slightly bitter wood at first then bursts of spice,nutmeg,that cream is now a custard note,cooked apples.
- Finish
- Spicy,long and warming.
- Comment
- A good whisky that does not really give its age away.
