- Nose
- Brassy.
- Palate
- Lightly peaty smokiness.
- Finish
- Dry maltiness. Toasty. Some phenol.
- Comment
- By today's standards, an unusually peaty Speysider.

- Nose
- Malty with dusty oak and a whiff of barley sugar then sacking, cinders and smoke.
- Palate
- A smoky start, wood embers, dried fruits behind. The sacking cloaks the sweet fruit.
- Finish
- Dry.
- Comment
- Visions of cowled monks. It is Lent I suppose.
