Michael Jackson

75
Nose
Youthfully fresh and clean. Slight cleansing acidity – sparkling lemonade?
Palate
Lemon sharpness, balanced by a barley sugar sweetness.
Finish
First warming lemon ginger, then, later, a hint of dark organic chocolate.
Comment
A teasing early freshness is the overture to a richer, modestly structured, conclusion.

Dave Broom

77
Nose
Clean, sweet and quite delicate. Light sappy notes: chewing on a leaf of grass, gooseberry jam, raffia. Becomes floral with a hint of flat ginger beer.
Palate
Light and fragrant becoming very sugary (gomme) with good delivery. Hay, coriander seed. A little hollow.
Finish
Drying slightly, surprisingly long
Comment
An attractive summery aperitif. Just lacks a middle.
