Nose
Fresh and estery (acetone, pear, cooking apple, linoleum?) with light floral and citric notes Some barley sugar sweetness. Better with water. Palate
Sweet and direct. Flowers an intense sweetness: banana with brown sugar. Light structure, decent balance. Finish
Sugary almond biscuits. Comment
A perfectly pretty dram but it is almost too light. Even delicate whiskies need backbone.
Arthur Motley
Nose
Lovely combination of crystallised orange, a little toffee and some lemon zest. Some fresh cut grass. Palate
Fruit, toffee and a bold maltiness. Finish
Drying and long-lasting malt character. Comment
Very pleasant youngish malt whisky. Not ground-breaking but a credit to any cabinet.
