Martine Nouet
Nose
Young in style. Herbal. Garden mint, lemon grass. Bread dough. A light floral touch (meadow flowers). Distant marine echo.
Palate
Oily, thick. Mouth coating. Vivid and fresh. Mustardy. Very clean. Sweet maltiness in the back.
Finish
Surprisingly long for the young age. Grassy.
Comment
A pleasant freshener. Delivers a lot. To be enjoyed on a warm day with raw fish and salad.

Nose
Lifted floral and fruity notes: lilac, conference pear, lemon zest. With water there’s ginger and camomile tea but also slightly plain oak.
Palate
Alcohol burn even at this strength. Water needed to bring out vanilla syrup and blossom. Light, yet firm and unyielding.
Finish
Slightly bitter.
Comment
A fine enough dram, but insubstantial compared to the others in this company.
