Nose
Fresh, lively, clean. A rich toffee creaminess teased by grassy and floral notes. Like breathing in a meadow field on a crisp September morning. Palate
Sweet, smooth and caressing. Nutty flavours enhanced by a luscious mintiness (like minty fudges). Finish
Long and dry. Clean also. Comment
An excellent refreshing dram. Well balanced, rich and light at the same time. Very enjoyable with chilled water.
Dave Broom
Nose
Fresh, with light notes of chaff, acetone and a whiff of hot plastic. Improves no end with water: dolly mixtures, lime blossom, muscat and lots of sweet American oak. Palate
Soft and gentle with a lightly fizzy quality that opens up into crisp apple and light toffee. Finish
Medium. Smooth. Comment
A clean session drink.
