77- Nose
- Light, fresh and very clean start, with delicate cereal notes and some wax crayons. Then it suddenly becomes sweet. Very pretty and lifted. Baked apple and lemon meringue pie.
- Palate
- Macaroon bars and dessicated coconut. The high alcohol obscures things, but things improve enormously with a drop of water. Delicious, light and zesty.
- Finish
- Short and clean.
- Comment
- A great wee aperitif. Fresh and fun.

85- Nose
- Estery with very ripe pineapples, sweet sawdust and banana yoghurt. Rum-like sweetness with plenty of vanilla from bourbon casks and fresh orange.
- Palate
- Rum-enflamed bananas, demerara sugar raisins and pears.
- Finish
- Oak and perhaps a little spiciness.
- Comment
- A ray of sunshine.
