Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Nose
Light, fresh and very clean start, with delicate cereal notes and some wax crayons. Then it suddenly becomes sweet. Very pretty and lifted. Baked apple and lemon meringue pie.
Palate
Macaroon bars and dessicated coconut. The high alcohol obscures things, but things improve enormously with a drop of water. Delicious, light and zesty.
Finish
Short and clean.
Comment
A great wee aperitif. Fresh and fun.

Arthur Motley

Nose
Estery with very ripe pineapples, sweet sawdust and banana yoghurt. Rum-like sweetness with plenty of vanilla from bourbon casks and fresh orange.
Palate
Rum-enflamed bananas, demerara sugar raisins and pears.
Finish
Oak and perhaps a little spiciness.
Comment
A ray of sunshine.
