- Nose
- Peaty! Slightlly flinty to begin with then comes smoked meats,Polish smoked sausage with a sweet touch of
honeydew melon.
- Palate
- A slight pause and then a mix of sweet tropical fruits backed by creosote like smoke. Oily yet fresh with a subtle depth. Great power, even better balance.Exemplary
- Finish
- Hint of soot.
- Comment
- This is top notch stuff. One of the best Port Ellen's for some while. Snap it up.

- Nose
- Smoky and briny. Burning seaweeds. Dry ashes. A sweet whiff of vanilla. Lemon sherbet. Garden mint.
- Palate
- Smooth with a lovely satin-like feel. Smoke and sweet maltiness combine with a minty touch. Refreshing and
straightforward.
- Finish
- Dry, slightly sooty. A sweet spearmint comes back.
- Comment
- A very pleasant Islander. Well balanced and thirst-quenching.
