- Nose
- Mature. Very heathery with cereal, light woods and a dry charred note balancing the vanilla. Ripe soft fruits.
Grows in the glass.
- Palate
- Lovely start, all clover honey, cream and very pure fruit.Water shows a light oily grip before the heather returns. Light, but there's plenty going on.
- Finish
- Fruity.
- Comment
- A lovely dram..hope its new owners find some like this lurking in the warehouses.

- Nose
- Leathery. Malty. Developing on oaky notes. Cedar, vanilla custard. A distant fruity aroma (cider apple).
- Palate
- Smooth, well balanced. Oak is well integrated, revealing a spicy dryness, balanced by sweet raisin notes.
- Finish
- Dry,astringent. Walnut peel aftertaste.
- Comment
- A somewhat austere but well structured whisky.
