Nose
Restrained at first. Then a heavy liquorice note swirls up alongside with floral notes. Clover honey, meadow flowers. Hint of angelica.
Palate
Sweet at first but very soon the oak grip takes it to the bitter side. Overcooked caramel. Tangy, dry. Slightly bitter.
Finish
Woody, spicy.
Comment
The nose is enticing but the palate is overwhelmed by the wood. And water exacerbates the astringency.

Nose
Takes time to open. Then this aromatic floral note with honey and stewed fruits comes, surrounded by liquorice.
Palate
A little orange pith bitterness with a sweet edge.
Finish
Warming with spices.
Comment
Worth waiting for the nose to open and one for the wood fans.
