- Nose
- Rich and deep. Candied fruit. Medjoul dates, marrons glacés. A touch of spices. Nutmeg. Gets creamier in time. Rich toffee. Freshly ground coffee.
- Palate
- Smooth. coating. Oak is slightly gripping but in the most complex way. Spicy. Ginger, a bit of Tabasco too. Then fruit arrives.
- Finish
- Lingering on exotic fruit. Passion fruit.
- Comment
- A dry character. Quite strictly framed by oak but releasing an interesting and complex spicy character.

- Nose
- Big and creamy with layers of spice and dry leaves. There is vanilla toffee, sugared fruits and a little citrus.
- Palate
- Fresh oak coats the mouth giving way to the spices and toffee notes. Hints of pineapple and citrus as well.
- Finish
- Keeps on going.
- Comment
- A perfect example of well balanced oak and fruit which shows off layers of flavour.
