Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Faintly smoky. Sweetish. Lemon zest. Pancakes. Palate Assertively sweet. Slightly syrupy. Finish Spicy (cinnamon?) dryness. Comment The name does not imply a dark whisky – the colour is a good full gold – but the barrel may have been well-charred. There is plenty of juicy wood-extract there.

Dave Broom Nose Soft and gentle with a light, crisp, cereal note. Water brings out milk chocolate, fruit and sultanas. Palate Very soft, gentle and sweet. A ripe whisky with chewy toffee. Finish Citrus sweetness. Comment A lovely easy going, approachable dram.
