92- Nose
- Rich, complex. Surprisingly fresh and frisky. Waves of honeyed fruit. Cherry plums, pears, peaches. In the back that “divine scent” note that old Speysiders exhale, a mix of incense and bee waxed pew.
- Palate
- Gentle and caressing. With the same aromatic display that the nose promised. Lots of passion fruit.
- Finish
- Drying on soft spices. Oak is melted into fruit. Dry almond aftertaste.
- Comment
- A pure beauty. The age without the wrinkles...

- Green fresh hay, ferns, hamster boxes. Custard cream biscuits and some heavy floral notes.
- Palate
- That fern note comes through, sweet but slightly bitter and gripping oak, gooseberries and tropical fruit.
- Finish
- Oak sweetness and then a bitter dryness follows.
- Comment
- A belter, everything in well balanced and sings together.
