- Nose
- Straight-ahead fragrant peat smoke.
- Palate
- Oily. Good Bowmore character: reedy, smoky, sandy, salty.
- Finish
- Appetising. Long, late, peppery dryness.
- Comment
- All the elements of Bowmore, and plenty of alcohol, but extra dimension.

- Nose
- Slightly lean with touches of vanilla, shaved wood, butter and green plum.
- Palate
- Clean and sprightly, sugary: orange marmalade with smoke from about half way in. Round and gentle.
- Finish
- Light smoke.
- Comment
- A solid Bowmore that's lighter than the distillery bottlings.
