- Nose
- Dried figs.
- Palate
- Figgy.
- Finish
- Minty. Warming, soothing. Late bitterness.
- Comment
- This mahogany dram looks like a winter warmer, and that is how I would use it.
70
- Nose
- A dense, nutty, heavily sherried nose with touches of chocolate and, in time, a fungal and mulch note.
- Palate
- Dense again: figgy, chocolate cake, dried Pedro Ximinez/muscatel. Some sulphur. Tannic.
- Finish
- Tarry.
- Comment
- A beast of a dram. Another case of Longmorn versus wood which has been won by the latter.
