Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Dried figs. Palate Figgy. Finish Minty. Warming, soothing. Late bitterness. Comment This mahogany dram looks like a winter warmer, and that is how I would use it.

Dave Broom Nose A dense, nutty, heavily sherried nose with touches of chocolate and, in time, a fungal and mulch note. Palate Dense again: figgy, chocolate cake, dried Pedro Ximinez/muscatel. Some sulphur. Tannic. Finish Tarry. Comment A beast of a dram. Another case of Longmorn versus wood which has been won by the latter.
