- Some peat. Grassy.
- Palate
- Sweet and slightly rooty. Candied angelica. Starts smooth and sweet, then develops a curiously fibrous dryness.
- Finish
- Liquorice. Pepper.
- Comment
- Slightly gin-like. I have preferred bottlings that had more contribution from the wood. A touch of vanilla would round out the flavours.

- Crisp, malty and nutty with a light earthy note.
- Palate
- Sweet to start, but the wood stands slightly apart from the spirit. Young but has a delicate charm.
- Finish
- Lemon, then butter.
- Comment
- Young but attractive. A distillery to watch.
