Nose
Raspberry vinegar. Winey. A fruity, French Syrah, perhaps?
Palate
Firm, sweetly fruity. Extraordinarily so. Kumquats. Brown sugar. Crêpes Suzette.
Finish
Crème Anglaise. Vanilla. Oak.
Comment
Extraordinarily red colour. The sweetness is almost overwhelming. The ultimate dessert whisky.

Nose
Dry, savoury/wooded notes though there's some butter that softens things a little. A mix of walnut, cherryade and clootie dumpling.
Palate
Powerful, intense and full-bodied with a leathery tone. Sweet. Solid ripe and rich.
Finish
Almost tarry. Marmite.
Comment
Rich and heavy. Plenty of nutty sherry-derived notes. It's good but just lacks complexity.
