Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Raspberry vinegar. Winey. A fruity, French Syrah, perhaps?
Palate
Firm, sweetly fruity. Extraordinarily so. Kumquats. Brown sugar. CrÃªpes Suzette.
Finish
CrÃ¨me Anglaise. Vanilla. Oak.
Comment
Extraordinarily red colour. The sweetness is almost overwhelming. The ultimate dessert whisky.

Dave Broom

Nose
Dry, savoury/wooded notes though thereâ��s some butter that softens things a little. A mix of walnut, cherryade and clootie dumpling.
Palate
Powerful, intense and full-bodied with a leathery tone. Sweet. Solid ripe and rich.
Finish
Almost tarry. Marmite.
Comment
Rich and heavy. Plenty of nutty sherry-derived notes. Itâ��s good but just lacks complexity.
