Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Highly spirity, almost nostril-burning. Light cereal notes. Bread dough.
Palate
Much sweeter. Velvety mouthfeel. Pleasant fruity notes. Apple jelly. Walnuts.
Finish
Hot and nothing more. Like swallowing a teaspoonful of tabasco sauce.
Comment
Far from Rosebank at its best. Fiery.

Dave Broom

Nose
A burst of fragrant top notes: lemon (zest, icing, leaf), blossom/fresh flowers, vanilla/cream soda. Almost rye-like. Water brings out mint, anise/basil.
Palate
Delicate, fragrant and almost sherbety. Thereâ��s some smoke lurking in the background alongside violet. Gorgeous.
Finish
Complex with a hint of smoke.
Comment
A lovely ethereal dram.
