Nose
Scented and musky with dried flower mint and marzipan with a smear of varnish. Water brings out baked apple and dried fruit.Rich and mellow.
Palate
Direct, showing some age. A hint of soap at the front but not unpleasantly so. Richly fruited but refreshing.Dry leaves and slightly grippy.
Finish
Dry, bosky
Comment
Best neat. Slightly firm but well worth a look.

Nose
Deep. Big. The sherry influence is temperate and enhances beautifully the oaky notes. Elegant, luscious. Dried apricot, candied orange. Cloves.
Palate
The same luscious sensation. Round, caressing.Exotic fruit. Passion fruit and mango. Develops on spices.
Finish
Spicy, pepper dust. A touch of burnt wood. Nutty aftertaste.
Comment
What an intriguing dram ! The best of sherry in a complex and refined expression. Gets close to an old cognac. No water, please.
