Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Assertive, ethereal. Orange blossom. Cooked fruit. Lime marmalade. An earth-after-rain scent slowly covers up the fruit, releasing a hint of distant smoke. Spice dust.
Palate
Velvety, sensually mouthcoating. Does not abandon its assertiveness though.
Finish
Dry, oaky. Bitter orange peel.
Comment
A complex, rich and interesting character. Water cuts the edges and adds creaminess. A real delight.

Dave Broom

Nose
Fat. Aniseed twists, cake dough, allspice, millionaire’s shortcake, seaside rock with spicy burnt orange overtones. In time plenty of vanilla.
Palate
Ripe and full-bodied. Very sweet with a cocoa powder density before a fizzing lift of spice.
Finish
Good length becoming sweeter.
Comment
Excellent balance. Recommended.
