- Big toffee start and gets deeper still. Old leather armchairs and sweet pipesmoke.

- Enormous from the off but beautifully shaped by shafts of honey and vanilla.

- Now comes into its own, with spice and caramel interweaving.

- What a treat this fabulous bourbon is. Absolutely everything in proportion.
