Nose
Some nose burn,turfy smoke,green ferns spattered with dried tar. Opens into cereal/mash with a hint of almond and halibut oil.
Palate
A cough of cigarette smoke then burning leaves. More phenols than on the nose with good balance between smoke and malt.
Finish
Quite dry and crisp.
Comment
Ordered and enjoyable.

Intense,malty. Straw. Farm scent. A restrained creosote note. Unripe pear. Garden mint. A light whiff of sea air.
Palate
Sweet and enticing. Lovely mix of summer fruit. Pear (but ripe this time), watermelon. A spicy burst which dries the palate.
Finish
Clean and dry.
Comment
As lively as a rustle of spring. The aromatic palette is displayed like a watercolour painting. Multilayered and harmonious.
