Nose
Soft, sweet, fresh, enticing. Palate
Very big. Fat but supple and rich. Mature. Elusive flavours. Vanilla. Cigar-smoke. Finish
Sweet, soothing, tongue-coating. Astonishingly long. Comment
Every time I taste small batch bourbon, this one comes out on top for me.
Jim Murray
Nose
Light and quite malty: almost dank Hessian amid some growing rye. Palate
Corn much more prominent and then a hugely satisfying surge of honey and spice. Delicious. Finish
Slightly fat. A disappointment compared to excellent build up. Some decent rye lingers. Comment
A rich bourbon that varies in style from batch to batch. This one has a better than average middle, but is let down in the final stages.
