- Nose
- Vanilla, bergamot peel, some chamomile, lily of the valley and parma violet.
- Palate
- A little gluey, with the UPV notes hitting the palate first but it develops into green apple, fresh asparagus and foam banana penny sweets.
- Finish
- Mr Whippy Ice Cream and some cinnamon spices.
- Comment
- Despite being quaffable, this seems like a work in progress, which needs
a little more time in the cask to allow the spirit to balance out a touch more.

- Nose
- Sweet, rich Demerara aromas. So reminiscent of a Jamaican rum.
- Palate
- Very sweet and thick. Cloying. The same Demerara character. With Vanilla. Milk chocolate. A slight cardboard note. Drying on soft spices.
- Finish
- Sweet, quickly fading. Quite sugary.
- Comment
- Is that a whisky? Hard to imagine. If so, a whisky disguised in rum attire.
