Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Fresh peat smoke. Palate Seems very tame at first, with a cookie-like maltiness, but the characteristic ferny lavender, fragrant smoke and sea air gradually emerge. Finish Sweet smokiness. With water, late saltiness. honey-roast peanuts. Comment A light, smooth, Bowmore that might attract younger drinkers.

Dave Broom Nose Fragrant with clean cereal notes. Heather, peat smoke and lanolin (woolly jumpers). Dried thyme. Young. Palate Mid-weight with tangerine and incense in the mid-palate mixed with fragrant smoke which builds towards the back of the mouth. Finish Good length, quite juicy. Comment A fine introduction to peated Islays and a good session malt.
