- Nose
- Fresh peat smoke.
- Palate
- Seems very tame at first, with a cookie-like maltiness, but the characteristic ferny lavender, fragrant smoke and sea air gradually emerge.
- Finish
- Sweet smokiness. With water, late saltiness. honey-roast peanuts.
- Comment
- A light, smooth, Bowmore that might attract younger drinkers.

- Nose
- Fragrant with clean cereal notes. Heather, peat smoke and lanolin (woolly jumpers). Dried thyme. Young.
- Palate
- Mid-weight with tangerine and incense in the mid-palate mixed with fragrant smoke which builds towards the back of the mouth.
- Finish
- Good length, quite juicy.
- Comment
- A fine introduction to peated Islays and a good session malt.
