- Gentle, slow start. Leafy, malty. Brooding.

- Surge of spicy, sandy flavours.

- Lively, expressive, enjoyable.

- A barrel in a dunnage warehouse. Green oak with a fresh floral note playing against earthy notes. Layers of fruit, vanilla, chocolate, sugared almonds.

- Spicy, elegant, wood in perfect balance. Apricot, dried apple, spice. Orange, cakey, sweetness.

- Fresh, then soft, sweet fruit.

- A whisky which needs time, thank god we're seeing some great old examples.
