Nose
A sour scent of dry cider. Tangy, not pleasant. Unripe orange. A yeasty and sulphury note in the back. Palate
Sweeter than the nose but still the citrussy sourness of unripe fruit. Touch of bees’ wax. Getting spicy. Finish
Smoother than at start, biting in the back. Comment
The nose puts you off, the palate tries to make it up but the result is not exciting.
Dave Broom
Nose
Slightly edgy. Dry and slightly malty, a hint of dunnage warehouse then comes banana, crisp green eating apple. Palate
Very lifted and effervescent. Light estery fruits to the fore. Lemon, lime and then Turkish yoghurt and honey cut with almond. Fragrant. Finish
Spicy. Comment
To me it is a classic balanced fresh sweet Laddie.
