- Nose
- Intense. Drier, flowery, seaweedy, salty.
- Palate
- Flowery, seaweedy, salty. Flavours very well-combined and rounded. An easily drinkable yet satisfying malt. Has definitely benefited from the extra five years.

- Nose
- Peat-free (contrary to label) and clean – even cleaner than 10 Years Old. The malt is sweeter, too, with more vanilla, and a hint of butterscotch.
- Palate
- More discreet malt this time, with a pleasing built up of spices and oak.
- Finish
- Dry and extremely malty. The oak adds a bitter chocolate finale.
- Comment
- Wondrously peat-free for an Islay but lacking in depth. Even so, this is rather lovely stuff.
