Nose
Masses of peat oils - pure phenols at work along with smoked bacon and mature nutty cheese. With water it goes back to the kiln and smouldering damp peat calf.
Palate
Big smoke from the start and a crunchy crystalline saltiness. Seems to tense slightly before relaxing finally to show its sweet heart.
Finish
Smoky.
Comment
Another to have with minimal dilution. Peat freaks will lap it up.

Nose
Intense. Like being in a farmyard. Straw, creosote, animal breath. Fruity. Crab apples. Behind the smoke, a sweet note. Vanilla wafers. Hint of coconut. White chocolate; multilayered. With water, herring.
Palate
Sweet and spicy. Smoked almonds, vanilla syrup. Very energetic. The alcohol is still untamed.
Finish
Dry, minty.
Comment
A sturdy dram. Water smoothes it without adulterating its cheerfulness.
