- Nose
- Deep and quite autumnal. Plenty of dark chocolate and bramble like fruit. Orange peel and thick toffee. This dominates the nose making it the sweetest so far.
- Palate
- Maraschino along with some anise. Concentrated mid-palate showing a lightly bitter edge but balanced by the huge. Cooked black fruits. Water though exposes the oak.
- Finish
- Chocolate.
- Comment
- Has blunt charm rather than complexity. A dancing bear, but don't give it any water.

- Nose
- Tangerine, traces of cocoa powder.
- Palate
- Acerbic. Lots of oak, a touch of cocoa. Softens quickly.
- Finish
- Moves on rapidly leaving a trace of fruit.
- Comment
- A traffic light whiskey: rampant red nose, cautious amber body, and green foregone on the finish.
