- A rich, moist Dundee cake. Toasted nuts. Salty. Sea breezes.
- Palate
- Malted milk. Chocolate. Nonetheless avoids being cloying. Deftly balanced.
- Finish
- Dark cocoa powder.
- Comment
- A brilliantly sunny winter's day; a walk by the sea in late afternoon; a dram at dusk. Still Bunnahabhain, but so different.

- Rich, delicate. Bouquet of granny's wardrobe. Gingerbread, orange peel. Dried roses. Prunes. exotic wood. Old furniture.
- Palate
- Creamy, sweet. Wood apparent with liquorice and eucalyptus notes. Hint of resin.

- Nice orangey aftertaste. Slight bitterness in final notes. Shorter than the nose suggests.
- Comment
- A truly distinguished acquaintance.
