Dave Broom
Nose
Distinctly odd. A child’s coat pocket; strawberry chewits and melted toffee. Hugely sweet, butterscotch.
Palate
A tight start, but a flabby centre. Stewed red fruit and caramel. Strangely dilute.
Finish
Disappears in a haze of saccharine sweetness.
Comment
Front-loaded, clumsy and forced. Bunna’s good enough on its own.

Arthur Motley
Nose
Fudgy, raisiny sweetness, green apples and fresh cut parsnips. An antiseptic, floor polish.
Palate
A good, oily and unchillfiltered texture, with jam, fruit and nut toffee, a little creosote and some orange.
Finish
Some sweet medical character, like Savlon.
Comment
Rather subdued on the nose, but a lovely, texture malt to drink.
