75- Nose
- Malty/mashy notes. Draff steaming in the cold air. Barley sugar with a hint of pear,stewed apple and light almond. Fragrant,with some burnt wood.
- Palate
- Acidic,mouth watering start then a creamy mid-palate. Rounded and apple like mid-palate. The acidity returns towards the finish. Very clean.
- Finish
- Tingling.
- Comment
- Well controlled. Wood just coming into play and despite the sulphur it's a pleasing light,sweet spirit.

- Earthy,damp moss. Like walking in a wood on a wet day. Developing on a slightly rancid cheesy note. Cereals and dry hay with a drop of water.
- Palate
- Smooth and sweet. Fudge and ginger. Water gives it a velvety feel but strangely enough,it brings in a slight bitterness.
- Finish
- Quite lingering,soothing on fudge and liquorice.
- Comment
- The nose is not inviting but the palate delivers interesting flavours.
