Michael Jackson Nose Warm. Nutty. Marzipan. Pistachios. Appetising. Palate Leafy. Spicy. Rosewater. Garden mint. Finish Dry. Drying on the tongue, Coriander. Slightly bitter. Slightly sharp. Comment An unusually dry expression of Bushmills. Complex. Austere. Bushmills needs a touch of sherry sweetness.

Dave Broom Nose Big and sweet with layers of fruit: butterscotch, cinnamon, citrus peels. With water, more spice, ripe oranges and a clover-like grassy/malty note. Palate Medium-bodied. Spices burst in the mouth. Masses of US oak, but it's balanced with gentle, soft maltiness. Explosive, sweet, delicious. Finish Malty. Comment Who said this was an insubstantial malt?
