Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Distinct rose-like aroma of Bushmills. Sandalwood.
Palate
Syrupy, sherryish. Nutty. Almondy.
Finish
Hard liquorice. Late rootiness.
Comment
Very rich and sweet, but still a Bushmills.

Dave Broom

Nose
Rich, soft and deep with sherry well in evidence. Turned earth, charred wood, raspberry, currant, hedgerow fruits. Almost jammy with a crisp cereal centre and some vanilla.
Palate
Big, soft and very smooth. A silky mouthful.
Finish
Starts juicily, then becomes dry and malty.
Comment
A less exuberant Black Bush: richer and more brooding.
