Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose That leathery, saddlery, Irish note. Linseedy, nutty, grassy. Soft but wonderfully scenty. Palate Fresh. Lightly creamy. Develops nuts and marzipan. Finish Faintly spicy. Orange zest. Dessert apple. Comment Tightly combined flavours. Delicate. Elegant.

Jim Murray Nose Understatedly rich, with a glorious yet subtle honey sweetness which is in total harmony with the banana custard background. Fabulous. Palate Brilliant intermingling of malt and honey which makes way for a deftly oaked middle. The tantalising spicy buzzes complement the complexity. Finish Medium long with the remnants of a honey-comb sweetness jousts with the soft spice. Comment This is Bushmills at its peak.
