Nose
Light, lemony. Palate
Creamy. Condensed milk. Becoming flowery and drying. Finish
Surprisingly hot. Comment
Littlemill has never been a favourite with critics-or blenders-but I have always thought it a good example of a Lowland malt.
Dave Broom
Nose
Sweet and slightly confected, but has depth. Orange squash/opal fruit and almond. In time a note like lead pipe. A bit immature? Palate
Light and very sweet to start, then a promising creamy maltiness, but a certain hardness remains. Finish
Fast. Comment
Seems sweet, but just isn't quite balanced, as if the cask has yet to interact fully with the spirit.
