Michael Jackson
Nose
Starfruit. Caramel sauce. Candied lemon peel.
Palate
Smooth. Dark chocolate souffle.
Finish
Chocolate Olivers. Slightly woody.
Comment
Glenglassaugh can be malty, and this one is. It stands up very well for it's age. In this bottling, with an apricot colour that suggests sherry, very much a dessert whisky.

Nose
Apples: flesh, skin, core and pips, in fact. Water gives straw, grass with herbs and nuts.
Palate
Medium bodied. Pear, toffee apple and herbs. Goes down the middle of the tongue rather than filling the mouth. Smoky oak late on.
Finish
Firm, dry, little short.
Comment
A spiky mix of apple and grass. Intriguing.
