- Nose
- Cidery. Oily. Earthy.
- Palate
- Cooked apples. Over-ripe bananas.
- Finish
- Cloves. Medicinal. Tight on the tongue.
- Comment
- A welcome opportunity to taste a rare whisky, though it was never a classic, and in this instance is over the hill (or the Conval Hills?).

- Nose
- Incredibly sweet and estery. Lemon, candy floss, Sugar Puffs, honey, mint, touch of smoke and cocoa. The oak emerges with water but ends up slightly flat with time.
- Palate
- Lemon-fresh and sugary sweet all the way. Cinnamon. Just a dab of water is needed here.
- Finish
- Light but intense.
- Comment
- Just lacks some depth. All a bit nervy, but worth seeking out.
