Nose
Fresh dessert apples. Apricot jam. Vanilla.
Palate
Fresh. Sweet. Cookies. Shortbread and caramel.
Finish
Spicy. Dry. A hint of salt.
Comment
Drier and less rich than the distillery bottlings.

Dave Broom

Nose
Cereal with earthy notes: dunnage warehouses, soggy rich tea biscuits. A mealy note with water: muesli and rope. Vanilla custard.
Palate
Light to medium bodied. Brazil nut, crunchy malty mid-palate becoming creamier.
Finish
Soft malt and a hint of currant leaf on the back palate.
Comment
Well balanced and gentle.
