Nose
Delicate and subtle. Bakewell tart. Tablet. Lots of sweety notes. Grassy. Aniseed. Getting spirity as it opens. Palate
Light and silky. Lovely herbal sweetness. Lemon and ginger ale. Alcohol is not tamed. Finish
Medium. Almondy. A bitter edge. Comment
A great delicacy but the strength needs to be put down by a good dash of water. But it is not enough to cut all the edges off.
Michael Jackson
Nose
Pineapple, peach perhaps with some strawberry sweetness. Clean, smoothie-like freshness with water. Palate
Hot and winey. Sugary, but surprisingly clean; fruity and refreshing with water. Finish
Sweet, sharp, cleansing. Comment
Hides its 57. 9% completely on the nose; delivers it to knockout effect in the palate. Gorgeously light and summery with (lots of) water.
