- Nose
- Delicate and subtle. Bakewell tart. Tablet. Lots of sweety notes. Grassy. Aniseed. Getting spirity as it opens.
- Palate
- Light and silky. Lovely herbal sweetness. Lemon and ginger ale. Alcohol is not tamed.
- Finish
- Medium. Almondy. A bitter edge.
- Comment
- A great delicacy but the strength needs to be put down by a good dash of water. But it is not enough to cut all the edges off.

- Nose
- Pineapple, peach perhaps with some strawberry sweetness. Clean, smoothie-like freshness with water.
- Palate
- Hot and winey. Sugary, but surprisingly clean; fruity and refreshing with water.
- Finish
- Sweet, sharp, cleansing.
- Comment
- Hides its 57. 9% completely on the nose; delivers it to knockout effect in the palate. Gorgeously light and summery with (lots of) water.
