- Nose
- Herbal, grassy. Green fruit. Granny Smith. Lemon sherbet. Refreshing.
- Palate
- Sweet aniseed infusion. Touch of lime tea and cardboard.
- Finish
- Warm, tangy.
- Comment
- Not a great aromatic display. A cardboardy touch on the palate. Water soothes alcohol a little while underlining the unidimensional aniseed/minty profile.

- Nose
- Instant, rich, sweet Sauterne-like notes. Honey and honey dew melon. Strawberries?
- Palate
- Oily. Cereals. Some smoke, perhaps. Chocolate chip? Orange zest.
- Finish
- Full and firm. Beautifully structured (toasted?) graininess gives way to faint, aromatic, astringency. Sandalwood? Tobacco?
- Comment
- Unusual and beautiful wine-like nose is backed up by solid malt character-rich palate.
