Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Herbal, grassy. Green fruit. Granny Smith. Lemon sherbet. Refreshing. Palate Sweet aniseed infusion. Touch of lime tea. and cardboard. Finish Warm, tangy. Comment Not a great aromatic display. A carboardy touch on the palate. Water soothes alcohol a little while underlining the unidimensional aniseed/minty profile.

Michael Jackson Nose Instant, rich, sweet Sauterne-like notes. Honey and honey dew melon. Strawberries? Palate Oily. Cereals. Some smoke, perhaps. Chocolate chip? Orange zest. Finish Full and firm. Beautifully structured (toasted?) graininess gives way to faint, aromatic, astringency. Sandalwood? Tobacco? Comment Unusual and beautiful wine-like nose is backed up by solid malt character-rich palate.
