Nose
Spirity, slightly cardboardy at first then fruity notes. With water, a wet earthy note. Palate
Silky with sweet notes (red fruit in yogurt). Funny enough, the cardboardy flavour comes after. Distant mint. Finish
Dry, slightly burning, spicy. Comment
Quite young and green, with a nice fresh tang, especially when diluted. But this cardboardy flavour hangs on.
Dave Broom
Nose
Higher alcohol and a crisper attack. Scented, fruit sirop. Flowers. Perfumed. Lime. Attractive. Obviously sweet. Palate
Direct and tight mid-palate with slight acidity giving interest. A charred note with water then floral lift. Better grip. Finish
Spicy yet sweet. Comment
A total change from the first quartet with good drive and energy which sets it apart.
