Michael Jackson
Nose
A waft of clean, crisp peat. Grassiness?
Palate
Malty sweetnesss. Barley sugar. Shortbread. Quick balancing dryness, with some estery fruitiness and acidity. Gooseberries.
Finish
Fruity, lively, almost effervescent.
Comment
‘Born on’ dates are not a big issue when John Barleycorn must die, yet this whisky seems to have an especially fresh maltiness. A refreshing dram for the sultry suns of summer.

A good aperitif whisky. Great drinking.
