- Violets. Nutmeg. cigar smoke. Slightly woody.
- Palate
- Malty, toffeeish, juicy, lemony, spicy, minty.
- Finish
- Spicy, gingery, warming.
- Comment
- Despite this being older, it is less astringently woody than the similar five-year-old.

- Mahogany. Lovely, fragrant, but huge nose mixing old roses, molasses, vanilla, burnt orange, cinnamon and toffee apple.
- Palate
- Ripe and sweet with an almost immediate zap of rye which gives way to sweet fruit.
- Finish
- Long and rich with caramelised fruit and well integrated oak.
