Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Dryish, grainy. Much drier than the Scot's version. Longer in the wood, of course.
Palate
Firm, smooth. Citrussy, orangey.
Finish
Marmalade-like bitterness.
Comment
Somewhat one-dimensional.

Dave Broom

Nose
Weighty and substantial, mixing dry and soft notes: light toffee, sugared almond, vanilla, honey. Attractive.
Palate
Sweet, concentrated and very long and soft. Spicy and fruity with a firm body giving it drive and some complexity.
Finish
Big and generous.
Comment
Great balance and great character.
