- Nose
- Oily. Sun-dried grass.
- Palate
- Sweet for a moment, then intensely peppery.
- Finish
- Lingering. Dry. Ground white pepper. Peat.
- Comment
- This bottling is much more aggressive, and drying, than I remember. What happened to the soft maltiness and apricot fruitiness?

- Nose
- A lot going on here: lifted notes of lemon balm/menthol, tangerine peel over a nutty/toasty background and, as it opens in the glass, vanilla and butter.
- Palate
- Silky and well-rounded. All the aromas come through making it creamy, fruity and spicy at the same time. Lovely balance and some complexity.
- Finish
- Well-rounded, mealy.
- Comment
- Well-balanced and characterful. Worth seeking out.
