Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Heathery. Ferny. Forest floor after rain. Sweet wild flowers. Palate Fiddlehead ferns with butter. Finish Green peppercorns. Quite assertive. Comment A rare opportunity to serve this summery whisky.

Dave Broom Nose Clean, fresh and lively. Pretty estery: flowers, pears, dolly mixture. All high-toned with some dried grass. Malty note with water. Palate Soft, quite sweet (sugared almond), light and fairly creamy spirit. Finish Short. Immature. Comment A well-made light and clean dram. Will Pernod get rid of this distillery as well?
