- Nose
- Lots of fruit. Pear drops. Summer fruit pudding. Apples cooked in the oven.
- Palate
- Quite smooth. Light-bodied. Lots of fruit again. Blackcurrant.
- Finish
- Crisp and dry. Warm all the way through.
- Comment
- Hard to guess at the high alcohol strength from the nose. Not the usual big, oily Ben Nevis character. A pleasant fruitiness keeps the sweet notes dominant.

- Nose
- Slightly indistinct but in time a rich sweetness.
- Palate
- Incredibly sweet: demerara sugar and malt. Has good weight, vanilla, almond. Well-rounded and silky.
- Finish
- Nutty and long.
- Comment
- Builds from a slightly disappointing nose to a solid sweet palate.
