Nose
Fresh. Minty boiled sweets. Palate
Concentrated sweetness. Scottish tablet. Nuts. Finish
Gingery. Spicy. Lively. Dry. Long. Comment
A charming whisky, and a reminder that Glenturret is a place, not an experience.
Martine Nouet
Nose
A definite sour, unpleasant milky aroma. Varnish-like fresh paint scent. Cedar notes behind. Palate
Lots of liquorice and aniseed (like Liquorice Allsorts). Nothing much else. Finish
Liquorice again. Turning slightly bitter. Comment
One-dimensional with a butyric aroma which doesn’t help. Far from exciting.
